Will it scratch my toolbox?

No. The magnets are fully embedded in the printed body — no exposed metal touches your toolbox. The contact surface is plastic, so it slides cleanly off when you're ready to move it.

Will it stick to my toolbox?

If your toolbox is steel — yes. Most modern tool chests and service carts have a magnetic steel exterior. Aluminum or non-ferrous stainless boxes won't work — the magnets need a ferrous surface to grip. Quick test: hold a fridge magnet to your box. If it sticks, the dock will too (and a lot harder).

How much weight will it hold?

Each dock has three N52 magnets sealed under 0.48mm of plastic. In real-world use it comfortably holds blower guns, inflators and tire chucks, which typically weigh 0.5–2 lb.

What air tools does it fit?

Built for 1/4" Type-M and Type-T quick-connect fittings — the most common pneumatic fitting style. Personally tested with Matco Tools, Milton, Astro Pneumatic, and Harbor Freight air tools (blower guns, tire chucks, inflators).

How is it made?

Each dock is 3D-printed to order in Minnesota using PLA and PETG. The magnets are pressed and sealed into the print — no glue, no exposed metal. Hand-finished and quality-checked before it ships.
